Clay
Studio and Gallery welcomes you to our web site! Our studio is a working artist's
studio where the artwork, both functional pottery and sculpture,
is created and sold at our studio/gallery. Clay Studio and Gallery
is owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Esther and
Ali Alinejad. Esther received her Bachelors Degree in Fine Art
from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her Masters
Degree in Fine Art from the University of Arizona. Ali received
his Bachelors Degree in Fine Art from the University of Paris
VIII.
Esther 's forte is sculpture, yet she enjoys wheel throwing and
has developed her own unique throwing style. She has been working
with clay for 19 years and enjoys working with her students sharing
her years of knowledge and experience. Ali enjoys hand building
in clay, specializing in creating table top and larger scale
fountains. Clay Studio and Gallery welcome special orders in
dinnerware, fountains and tile wall murals.
At Clay Studio and Gallery we also specialize in teaching all levels of pottery classes. From toddlers to adults, we teach hand building, wheel throwing and sculpture classes.
