kiosk design

Navfac is an engineering division of the Navy. For their lobby they wanted a kiosk that could be semi dismantled for moving. It required 5 LED lighboxes and hold a ticker sign. Also plex holders for patent papers. I designed, built and installed this kiosk.

Here is the rendering for final design proposal. I used Vectorworks and Strata to illustrate.

Later they needed to replace the ticker sign with a monitor. I integrated the monitor with sturdy but minimal non visible mounting. Then installed on site.

Later they also wanted additional lighting for the plex patent holders. Again sturdy with minimal structure.
This drawing shows the components. When making this and the whole kiosk I manage the costs through parts analysis.
