EMPLOYMENT

DESIGNER

Trade show booth design. Graphic design. Shop work. Fabrication.
Using Vectorworks for CAD layout, Strata and Bryce 3D for textures and rendering of booths for client proposals and construction. For graphics, Photoshop, Illustrator, Bryce 3d, Indesign. Graphics are large format for canvas banners and lexan popup booth displays, plex backlit signs, booth graphics on plastic sintra.
Indesign, Vectorworks, photography, and Photoshop are used for setup instruction books. Inhouse printing and laminating with large printers, hp5000 and hp9000 - 6ft wide up to 15 ft prints.

Shop work consists of constructing booths, mainly from extruded aluminum sintra panels and fabric panels.
Custom laminating of counter tops. Fabrication using mdf soft wood, plexiglass, sintra plastic, aluminum, tig welding, adhesives, electrical, detail spray gun. Setting up existing booths to prep for shows.
Warehouse work tracking stock, organizing with forklift, pallet jack.

Web layout and design for company website. Using Dreamweaver to update, produce and design web pages. To create graphics I use the CS3 suite of programs. Manipulate javascript to work on dynamic pages. Digital photography for products.
Email campaign implementation - Layout html for email promotions, Excel for data sheet list formatting for exporting to bulk email vendors. Flash for internet ad building.

Signage created with vinyl letters. Illustrator layouts for vector artwork to cut vinyl using Flexisign software. Applications on Plexiglass, plastic, automobiles. Outsourcing vector line artwork for foam cut letters, logos.
Purchasing supplies for shop materials, booth construction projects, graphic production materials.
Orgainzing show services, electrical layouts, utilities.

Layout entire monthly publication, articles, images and ads. Design ads and pages. This publication is on news print 11 x 13, 56 pages, 8 color pages and the rest in black and white. This is a very time driven assignment to meet print deadlines. Job is almost entirely telecommuting. Layout and design with Indesign, Photoshop for some design and color corrections from supplied pieces.

Produce catalog using Cad renderings supplied. I designed and formatted their catalog for inhouse printing. 100 pieces, 27 pages, full color with binding and clear covers. This was a very time driven project for a trade show. I used Photoshop and Indesign.
